Great apartment in centre of the city. Very close to BUGIS MRT station. Great view of the city from the balcony. Next door is Andaz hotel and also ATLAS bar. Not to forget close to Raffles Hospital too.
A modern building with most significant facilities for lodging. however, It's a little bit noisy.
Too Much Noise at DUO Residences
I'm a new tenant at DUO Residences, and I've got a big problem with noise here. It's affecting my health and how I feel overall. The noise isn't the same on all floors. The lower ones (1st and 2nd) are okay, but the higher ones are way too loud.
The noise comes from different things like loud music from Haji Lane, constant traffic noise from a nearby highway, non-stop construction work with lots of drilling from a place about 200 meters away, and loud sounds from nearby mosques. Unfortunately, the apartment's doors and windows can't block out this noise, and it's really annoying.
What's frustrating is that the people who manage DUO Residences can't do much about it. They say we should talk to the construction companies directly if there's a problem.
In short, if you don't like noise, don't live here. I made a mistake because my agent didn't tell me about this. It's weird that in a noisy city like Singapore, construction companies don't do more to control the noise. They should install noise absorbing or noise-control barrier preferably near the construction site.
I'm really disappointed.

Posh residences only for rich people. Nice place to visit with friends for the observatory floor where the view is breathtaking
High-rise, stylish, modern living for discerning professionals. Ideally situated for shopping, dining and public transport, with world class views. Efficient, polite and helpful concierge staff facilitate smooth operations and a pleasant environment. Duo has a variety of exclusive facilities available for all residents, the main swimming and gardens are my favourite. Family friendly areas include playground equipment, paddle pools and outdoor entertaining areas for BBQs and Tepenyaki.
The building I now live, pretty epic one. Feels like a five star hotel, but you walk in your beautiful and comfy apartment. Love the variety of pools and common zone on the 31st floor and cool restaurants on the level 1. :)
